The Brief

A streetwear brand was developed for a client who had an idea for a multi-purpose brand that would consist of a barber, a convenience store and a clothing brand. There was a need to create something loud, bold and colourful. Something that would represent all the services that the business would provide.

Rationale

Through research and some strategy, the brand was created to be simple, clean and easily recognisable. This approach was taken so that the brand can have one cohesive identity and can then branch out into the services that the business want to establish through the brand. I created the brand identity so we can go wild with the extensions and the merchandise for the clothing brand. This wasn’t easy as the client had a bit of pushback however after discussing the idea of simplicity with them, they were able to understand that to be able to maintain brand integrity the graphic devices needed to be simple, clean and timeless.
